Assistant Professor (with Tenure Track) for Data Science in Diabetes Care
Candidates should hold a PhD in engineering, physics, computer science, or other related areas, ideally have 3 – 5 years of postdoctoral and independent research experience, and are expected to initiate and establish an internationally competitive research group. Experience in the field of diabetes research will be a strong plus. Acquiring third-party funding and an ability to closely collaborate with clinical researchers, engineers, and industrial partners is key as the aim is to build an integrated, multidisciplinary research laboratory committed to developing and translating novel medical applications, products, or services into clinical care and the healthcare marketplace. The appointee will have the opportunity to teach graduate-level courses within the University's Biomedical Engineering and Artificial Intelligence in Medicine Master's programs.
