A Day in the Life
Sales/Promotion activities:
- Development, initialization and implementation of all sales activities for the business specific product line
- Acquiring new customers in all segments
- Market analysis (competition, accounts)
- Writing offers and doing follow-ups (phone, e-mail, visiting)
- Development and implantation of price, promotion, positioning and placing strategies
- Supports all clinical and educational activities and in the defined sales territory
- Trains and educates relevant hospital staff on Medtronic products
- Supports physicians during procedures and follow-up procedures when required and in accordance with Medtronic guidelines
- Identifies and prepares upcoming tenders
Marketing and Promotion activities: - Planning, organizing and participating at relevant congresses and conventions
- International know-how exchange within the company
- Implementation of educational program / -material
- Organization and execution of presentations and courses for customers, potential customers and Medtronic employees
- Launching new products
- Managing sales and promotion material
Required profile:
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
- Previous sales experience
- Technical affinity, passion for tech products
- Mother tongue German language, working knowledge of English language
- Analytical skills (to understand local market and customer needs) in order to develop country specific strategies and tactics
- Demonstrated ability to work independently on projects/duties as well as contributing to a larger team
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) at all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated integrity and respect of peers/subordinates
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Computer literacy (e.g. advanced computer skills - MS Office)
- Driver's license
Nice to Have- Previous sales experience in the Medtech industry
- Knowledge of the decision-making process with customers (economic buyer, reimbursement, surgeons, ...)
- Solid understanding of disease- and clinical pathways
- SFDC/Lightning knowledge is a plus
